Neighbors, it's time to bring your holiday decorating A-game! Turn on those twinkle lights, spruce up your decorations, and get ready to cruise the neighborhood to enjoy the sights. This year we'll be having a contest for best holiday light decorations, so be sure to sign-up.

De Tolosa Ranch 2025 Holiday Lights Competition Rules

1. Lighting Display Requirements:

• All entries must be visible from the street and set up by 5:00 PM on December 21, 2025.
• Displays must remain illuminated from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on the day of the competition. No specific theme is required, but holiday spirit and creativity are encouraged! Must be a member property of the De Tolosa Ranch Owners Association to participate. Entry is free.

2. Judging:
Judging will take place on December 21, 2025, during the Annual Holiday Lights Stroll from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Judges will visit each registered home, so be sure your lights are shining bright!  The winner will be announced at 7:00pm by the Hot Chocolate Stand at 1500 Eto Circle. Judges decisions are final.

3. Judging Criteria:

• Creativity & Originality: How unique and creative is your display?
• Visual Impact: Does your display wow the crowd?
• Holiday Spirit: How well does your display capture the holiday vibe?
• Overall Presentation: How cohesive and polished is the setup?

4. Prizes:

• 1st Place: $100 Gift Card from Home Depot and the honor of holding the Holiday Lights Trophy for the year!
• 2nd Place: $50 Gift Card from Home Depot
• 3rd Place: $25 Gift Card from Home Depot
  Plus, ultimate bragging rights in De Tolosa Ranch!

5. Winners:
The winners will be announced at 7:00pm by the Hot Chocolate Stand on Eto Circle and via email, on Facebook and on detolosaranch.org.
